allow y-axes to be interactively deselected based on active traces

The closest I found to this was the following stackoverflow question however, this requires editing the code of the script.

Ideally, it would be nice if based on the trace that is selected, it displays the axis associated with it and when the trace is deselected the associated axis (if all traces associated with that axis are deselected) is not shown. Having this done interactively makes sense based on the active traces.
