Description
After specializing the sound events, I now want to move away from the RPG maker sounds in favor of sounds more tailored to the event they're tied to. An example for this would be to replace
changed:fireinchanged:block.gas.ambientwith a sound that better represents hissing gas. I would also have an ambient sound effect sourced at the gas canister, indicating a nearby threat.Another bit of sound design I'd like is more variations of
changed:poison, as it is used a lot and in many situations. If changed were to go through a large sound design overhaul, I would definitely keep an embedded resource pack that restores the use of RPG maker sounds (like "Programmer Art"). I'll need to find someone who can help with sound design as I have no experience with it.

- Find an individual who can help with sound design.
- Create sounds for latexes, that separate them from standard mob sounds and hint at their proximity:
- Ambient sounds that play occasionally as the latex entity exists.
- Hurt sounds that play when the latex is damaged
- Death sounds that play when the latex dies
- Create more environment goo sounds for variety instead of reusing
changed:poisoneverywhere:- Variation between
changed:entity.latex.enter_latexandchanged:entity.latex.exit_latex - Variety of latex transfur sounds
- Unique sounds for the stasis chamber creating/discard/modifying latexes.
- Variation between
- Replace RPG maker sounds with sound of higher resolution and better fit their source:
changed:crash,changed:shot1,changed:fire,changed:slash10, etc.
- Create an embedded resource pack to preserve the use of RPG maker sounds.
This issue will be marked as long-term, as it will take some time to find help and to create these sounds. If you, the reader, happen to be capable in sound design: please make yourself known in the comments of this issue.
