Currently the acrylic system is tagged as experimental but is used by many customers. This feature should be graduated out of experimental.
Describe the solution you'd like
- Clean up prototype code and features
- Finalize public API
- Document public API
- Refine samples and docs (related #65)
- Check for performance improvements (for example temporary RTs)

Keep the system experimental.
