Does python API support query with wildcard?

#### My code is like this:

from intermine.webservice import Service
service = Service("https://phytozome.jgi.doe.gov/phytomine/service")
query=service.new_query()
query.select("*")
_query.add_constraint("Gene","LOOKUP","AT5G67180")_

#### this code works fine. but if i wrote using wildcard,like,

_query.add_constraint("Gene","LOOKUP","*5G67180")_

#### the error comes up,

The request starts with Service.new_query() and add_constraint(); reproduce it against the listed Phytozome service and inspect intermine/results.py around line 640, where the HTTP request opens. Compare the wildcard and exact-value requests, then establish whether wildcard queries are supported; done means the behavior is handled without an HTTP 500 or clearly documented as unsupported.
