Stuck at Sign in to Github

**Describe the bug**
Github Actions suddenly stopped working.

**To Reproduce**
Nothing has changed on my side w.r.t this extension.

In the Actions pane, I only see Sign in to Github although I am already signed in. Other extensions (like Github Pull requests) work fine.

In the output pane, the last log is - "Activating GitHub Actions extension..."

**Expected behavior**
Be able to sign in and see the actions

Seems like the latest update broke something?

Start by reproducing the problem in the Actions pane with extension v0.27.1, then inspect the extension output pane after “Activating GitHub Actions extension...”. Trace why the existing GitHub sign-in is not recognized; done means the pane permits sign-in and displays actions without breaking the other GitHub extensions.
