Confusing behavior on Performance page when paused


The service extensions like Track Widget builds, layouts, paints, etc. appear to queue up and only make their way to the vm service when the app is unpaused. This is confusing because it looks like you enabled these settings from DevTools but the buttons enabled state does not change because the status of these service extensions from the VM service has not been updated to reflect the user action

Reproduce the behavior on the Performance page with the app paused, then inspect how the Track Widget, builds, layouts, and paints service-extension settings are sent to and reported by the VM service. Done means the controls reflect the user's enabled state without requiring the app to be unpaused.
