lambda extension for appconfig

I'm trying to write an lambda extension for retrieving appconfig config for a specific version, since none currently exists with that feature (specifying older versions).

Why doesn't your appconfig example show the extension code? It only shows the client code?

It would be great if appconfig team added a parameter for the "version" for an appconfig release. Before I write my own, is that feedback the team would be willing to accept?
