Description
Hello,
I have been able to download SHADERed IDE (https://github.com/dfranx/SHADERed) as well as adding in the Rust-GPU plugin (https://shadered.org/plugin?id=Rust) for testing on my Windows 11 x64 system.
I also have Rust installed
> rustc --version
rustc 1.94.0-nightly (1aa9bab4e 2025-12-05)
> cargo --version
cargo 1.94.0-nightly (2c283a9a5 2025-12-04)
The problem that I have is that the SHADERed IDE complains that cargo is not configured properly and I wanted to ask what your setup from scratch steps were to set up SHADERed IDE for use with Rust-GPU since you suggest it on your Rust-GPU repo and is exactly what i am interested in doing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Research direction
Start by reviewing the Rust-GPU repository guidance for SHADERed and the linked Rust-GPU plugin setup, using the reported Windows 11, Rust nightly, and Cargo versions as context. Done would mean documenting verified setup-from-scratch steps or identifying the specific Cargo configuration requirement that prevents SHADERed from working.
