Research direction

Start with the issue requirements for overriding a region's environment and the viewer's accessibility fixed-lighting option; no files, tests, or code entry points are identified. Done would require a decided design in which the LSL override controls the region environment unless the user explicitly selects fixed lighting, while preserving the intended regional ambiance.

Description

accessibility enhancement stale team:viewer UX design

Currently, when a user sets a different environment instead of the "Shared Environment," the LSL function does not allow the override of a specific environment. Some regions are designed with particular lighting conditions in mind. To ensure accessibility and maintain the intended ambiance, it would be beneficial to have an option in the viewer to fix the environment. The LSL should override the environment settings unless users specifically choose the accessibility fixed lighting option.
