Description
Type: Bug
Press SHIFT+CTRL+P -> 'Go to symbols in workspace', search for ArrayList in the utils package. Press enter to view the definition.
From the class definition move the cursom to "List" and then press 12 (Go to definition). I get and error saying the definition is not found, but it exist if I just search for it.
These seem to be a bug in the indexing of the definition.

First steps
- Read the whole issue, then the project's contributing guide.
- Comment on the issue to say you are picking it up — it saves two people doing the same work.
- Fork the repository and make your change on a branch.
- Open a pull request that references the issue number.
Research direction
Reproduce the failure by opening the Java workspace in VS Code, searching for ArrayList, and using Go to Definition on List. Start by investigating the extension's definition indexing and lookup behavior; done means the command resolves List even though workspace symbol search already finds it.
