Frequent crashes since moving to JDK 11

I'm not really certain whether here or java debug is appropriate, as the crash results in both the redhat features and running/debugging to completely break.

Since moving to Oracle JDK 11, I'm finding frequent crash logs. I usually know to check for new crash logs because my running configurations bar disappears, autocompletion stops showing, no error checking, etc.

• Operating System: MacOS Catalina 10.15.1
• JDK version:

  Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 18.9 (build 11.0.8+10-LTS)
  Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 18.9 (build 11.0.8+10-LTS, mixed mode)
• Visual Studio Code version: 1.47.3
• Java extension version: 0.65.0

Steps To Reproduce

1. Just use vscode for awhile until Java crashes.
