React Native Bundler Bug?

Description

I'm not sure what's going on. I spent the afternoon trying to figure out how to run a new React Native project at version 0.78.0. I simply created a new project using the following command:

npx @react-native-community/cli@17.0.0 init AwesomeProject --version 0.78.0

The project was created, and I was able to build it successfully. However, as soon as I ran the Metro bundler, the app displayed a black screen. I had to manually close the app and reopen it for anything to appear.

Steps to reproduce

1. First init a new project with npx @react-native-community/cli@17.0.0 init AwesomeProject --version 0.78.0
2. Run npm run android && npm run start
3. Await it to build, as soon as the app run close it, and open again manually.

Riproduci il problema creando React Native 0.78.0 con il comando CLI indicato, quindi esegui npm run android  npm run start nell’ambiente Android segnalato. Inizia tracciando il percorso di avvio del Metro bundler e confronta il primo avvio con la riapertura dell’app. L’attività è completata quando un’app appena compilata viene visualizzata normalmente al primo avvio senza doverla chiudere e riaprire manualmente.
