React Native Bundler Bug?

Description

I'm not sure what's going on. I spent the afternoon trying to figure out how to run a new React Native project at version 0.78.0. I simply created a new project using the following command:

npx @react-native-community/cli@17.0.0 init AwesomeProject --version 0.78.0

The project was created, and I was able to build it successfully. However, as soon as I ran the Metro bundler, the app displayed a black screen. I had to manually close the app and reopen it for anything to appear.

Steps to reproduce

1. First init a new project with npx @react-native-community/cli@17.0.0 init AwesomeProject --version 0.78.0
2. Run npm run android && npm run start
3. Await it to build, as soon as the app run close it, and open again manually.

Reproduce el problema creando React Native 0.78.0 con el comando CLI indicado y, después, ejecuta npm run android  npm run start en el entorno de Android indicado. Empieza siguiendo la ruta de inicio del Metro bundler y compara el primer lanzamiento con volver a abrir la aplicación. Se considera terminado cuando una aplicación recién compilada se muestra con normalidad en su primer lanzamiento sin cerrarla y volver a abrirla manualmente.
