Start with test/test_posix.py, especially _test_all_chown_common around line 780 and test_chown, test_fchown, and test_lchown. Reproduce the failure by running test_posix in the reported Linux container environment, then compare the behavior across Python 3.11, 3.12, and 3.13. Done means the reported chown tests no longer fail or the platform-specific behavior is addressed with appropriate test coverage.
