Referencing external dependency via `package.json` works for ESM, but not CJS

Given the following files:

Now run both scripts.

How often does it reproduce? Is there a required condition?

It reproduces consistently.

Both scripts run and output nothing.

Running node index.mjs works fine, but node index.cjs throws:

Referencing a relative path works fine though.

Tái hiện vấn đề bằng cách sử dụng package.json, index.cjs và index.mjs của gist, sau đó theo dõi quá trình phân giải CommonJS qua node:internal/modules/cjs/loader, đặc biệt là finalizeEsmResolution. Công việc được xem là hoàn tất khi ánh xạ imports trong package.json tới path tích hợp sẵn hoạt động từ cả hai script mà không có ERR_INVALID_URL_SCHEME.
