Sub-issues

Context

The new sub-issues feature in GitHub (currently in Public Preview) allows for organizing issues in a parent/child hierarchy. This feature makes issue management more structured and visual, offering nested hierarchies and enhanced functionality for tracking progress. More details about the public preview can be found here.

Proposal

It would be extremely useful to integrate support for sub-issues into the Visual Studio Code Pull Request GitHub extension. Specifically:

1. Visual Hierarchy: Display the parent-child relationship of sub-issues directly in the extension.
2. Editing Capability: Allow users to edit sub-issues and their relationships directly within the extension.

This feature would enhance productivity for developers managing complex projects by providing a visual representation of issue hierarchies without leaving their development environment.
