Unable to show figures in VS Code

Describe the issue

In VS Code Jupyter Notebook, after using %matplotlib widget or %matplotlib ipympl, no figures will show.

Minimal example:

# This requires jupyter-matplotlib a.k.a. ipympl.
# ipympl can be install via pip or conda.
%matplotlib widget

まず、記載されている Python、ipympl、JupyterLab、拡張機能のバージョンを使用し、%matplotlib widget または %matplotlib ipympl を指定して、VS Code で最小限のノートブック例を再現します。結果を報告されている動作と比較します。VS Code でインタラクティブな図が表示されれば完了です。
