* Distribution - Mint 20.3 Cinnamon 5.2.7
Issue
This issue was originally reported here , but with the wrong PDF file. Since the original issue is now closed and I cannot re-open it, I see no other option then to create a new issue.
This is the original PDF. It displays correctly in Chromium, Firefox, and several other PDF readers, but not in Xreader. Check the barcode on the second page. unreadable_barcode.pdf
The document reported in the initial issue contained only the second page, and was created by "printing" that page to a file using Xreader. It seems that that created a bad PDF.
Steps to reproduce
Open document included above, check the second page. The barcode looks like a black rectangle, with the bars only vaguely visible.
Expected behaviour
Barcode should look like a barcode.
