Bug description

As i found out through this issue https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/simple-scan/-/issues/321, xreader can't read the creation date of pdf files, created with Document Scanner/Simple Scan. Only files created with the antique xsane is readable by xreader.

Other pdf reader, like evince, firefox or xpdf can read the creation date.

Steps to reproduce

Open pdf file with xreader and go to File>Properties.

Expected behavior

In the properties of the file should be a creation date.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue from File>Properties using a PDF created with Document Scanner/Simple Scan, then compare it with a PDF created by xsane and check how xreader reads their creation-date metadata. The work is done when the creation date appears for the affected PDFs and the behavior remains correct for existing files.
