Research direction

Start by reproducing the failure with the attached w65c02s.pdf in Xreader 3.2.2 and the reported Brother HL-2270DW printer, comparing odd and even pages. Trace the print path used for this PDF and verify the result against the expected behavior: every page, including right-facing pages, prints correctly.

Description

  • Xreader 3.2.2
  • Distribution - Mint 20.3

Issue
Xreader failed to correctly print every right facing page (every odd page).

Steps to reproduce
Download W65C02S Datasheet from https://www.westerndesigncenter.com/wdc/documentation/w65c02s.pdf
Print it.

Expected behaviour
It should print correctly. Adobe Reader under Windows 11 prints correctly.

Other information
I update Linux Mint every day. I print to a Brother HL-2270DW monochrome laser.
