Use betteralign in CI

Add [betteralign](https://github.com/dkorunic/betteralign) to the CI and / or pre-commit

Locate the repository's CI configuration and pre-commit setup, then review how existing Go checks are configured. Add betteralign to the chosen check location or locations and verify that the CI or pre-commit run completes successfully with the new tool.
