Steps To Reproduce:

  1. Enter the following into the Python console:
import time; time.sleep(3); log.log_alert("alert")
  1. While that is waiting, start dragging one of the sidebar icons and hold the mouse button down until the dialog appears.
  2. Release the mouse button and use the mouse to close the dialog
  3. Close the Binary Ninja window. A sidebar icon will be left on the desktop and Binary Ninja will not close fully.
