Reproduce the issue using the Python console command and the sidebar-drag sequence on macOS. Trace the sidebar drag and modal-dialog interaction, then verify that releasing the drag leaves no icon on the desktop and that Binary Ninja closes fully.

Steps To Reproduce:

  1. Enter the following into the Python console:
import time; time.sleep(3); log.log_alert("alert")
  1. While that is waiting, start dragging one of the sidebar icons and hold the mouse button down until the dialog appears.
  2. Release the mouse button and use the mouse to close the dialog
  3. Close the Binary Ninja window. A sidebar icon will be left on the desktop and Binary Ninja will not close fully.
