Duplicate country search when preference country is set

When i set the preference countries, for example like US, and i seach US, it will return 2 US in the recycler view list

Start by reproducing the issue with a preference country set to US, then search for US and inspect the recycler view results and the code handling preference countries. Trace how the search list is assembled. Done means the selected country appears only once in the results while other country searches remain unaffected.
