Make reconnect timer customizable

Hi, I would like to change the amount of time the application waits to reconnect to the server. Currently it waits 60 seconds and then increments. Personally I would like the app to try to reconnect every 10 seconds without incrementing, I can see that's overkill for most people, so I'm asking for this timer to be made customizable.

The issue names no files or tests. Start by locating the reconnect timer and the app's settings entry point, then trace how the current 60-second incremental delay is applied. Done means users can configure the reconnect interval and disable incrementing, with the requested behavior covered by tests.
