Weird return codes when calling sanitize() on Windows

On one of my machines, calling `sanitize()` and checking the return code gave me weird codes like e.g. 3221225781.

I found out that I needed to install the [Visual C++ Redistributable](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170#visual-studio-2015-2017-2019-and-2022) to make ots work properly again.
