Unable to connecto to the Github API, please check your internet connection. [Mac]

The extension is unable to connect to github

Github copilot is able to connect without issue. I'm fairly certain Github Pull Requests also works fine.

**To Reproduce**
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
1. Install extension (on Mac?)
2. Try and use extension

**Expected behavior**
The extension should be able to access Github API

**Additional context**
- I've added `"git.enabled": true` to my config
- I am not using a proxy or a VPN
- Running on macOS
