Make option to disable taskbar icon

Describe the feature or problem you'd like to solve

I don't like the CLI taskbar icon thing as I've got lots of sessions and they all pile up in it and I have my own tools for tracking what things need my attention. I'd rather it be turned off but don't see a way to do that.

Proposed solution

Have a /config option or something that let's me control whether or not the taskbar icon pops up or shows notifications. I just don't like how its implemented. Rather than suffering through it while you figure it out, can I just disable it? Seems like a pretty easy thing to make a flag for it?
