Terminal commands hang during sessions

### What happened?

Every time it runs a terminal command, I have to stop it because it just hangs and will not do anything.

Example: Running prettier on my project. I can run it directly in a terminal and it takes ~7 seconds for this project. It has been running in this session for over 4 minutes:

No files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by reproducing the issue in v0.2.23 with a terminal command such as Prettier that normally completes in about seven seconds; done means the command completes during a session instead of hanging.
