Terminal commands hang during sessions

When in a session and it tries to execute terminal commands, it just hangs.

### What happened?

Every time it runs a terminal command, I have to stop it because it just hangs and will not do anything.

Example: Running prettier on my project. I can run it directly in a terminal and it takes ~7 seconds for this project. It has been running in this session for over 4 minutes:
