I would like to be able to edit sessions more than just renaming the session. E.g I think it would be very useful to be able to change the work location of a session (e.g. if I have in the meantime moved the work to a different branch or to a different folder locally)

Start in the /chat path and inspect how sessions are currently renamed and how their work location is stored. Clarify which session properties should be editable, including branch and local folder, then verify that an existing session can be updated without creating a new one.
