When leaving comments, it seems that the comment shows up regardless of what variation I am looking at (I tend to create variations and surface them in the Controls panel). Is there a way to attach comments to specific variation states?

Start in the /chat path and reproduce the behavior by creating multiple variations and surfacing them in the Controls panel. Check how comments are currently associated with the visible conversation state. Done means comments can be attached to a specific variation and do not appear for unrelated variation states.
