[Bugs] MCP Servers are stuck at "Connecting" state

### Short summary

MCP servers in the 1.0.6 version do not connect. It is forever at connecting state.

Mac 26.5

### What happened?

As seen, in the screenshot MCP servers remain in connecting state and do not ever connect. If I downgrade to the 1.0.2 or 1.0.3 versions then they connect perfectly.

New installation of MCP servers also do not connect. Tried a fresh install but the issue persists. LLMs also do not recognize any MCP servers.

OS: Mac 26.5

### Steps to reproduce

- Open Github Copilot 1.0.6 version
- Go to Settings -> MCP servers
- MCP servers do not connect and are forever in a "connecting" state

No source files or tests are named. Start by reproducing the issue in GitHub Copilot app v1.0.6 through Settings → MCP servers, then compare behavior with v1.0.2 or v1.0.3; the issue is done when newly installed MCP servers connect and are recognized by the LLMs.
