Output of Console class not working on Windows

There was a problem with messages from the `Console` class in the jenkins tests on windows reported in #116, and that was resolved, but the console messages don't actually appear on Windows.

I'm not sure how to test for this, but it's easy to see if you look at the jenkins console output.
