onProgressChanged not working in android

here is my code

_onProgressChanged = flutterWebviewPlugin.onProgressChanged.listen((double newProgress) {
print(newProgress);
});
```
but progress value doesn't print at all in android devices but in IOS devices it works fine
can anyone help me?
