Confusing filter button on retaining path

This was initially confusing because I didn't understand what this filter button did. We could consider shortening the tooltip timeout here so that this filter button's side effect is more clear.

This case seemed like a broken button because nothing changed. Then after going back to see if the button had a tooltip, I realized nothing changed because nothing was filtered out. Shortening the tooltip timeout would have helped here.
