VSCode uses old dependecy that doesn't support XDG basedir specification

VSCode appear to be using an old version of NSS (Network Security Services) that clutters `$HOME` with a `.pki` folder.
It should have been fixed in [NSS 3.42](https://firefox-source-docs.mozilla.org/security/nss/legacy/nss_releases/nss_3.42_release_notes/index.html) (see: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=818686)

Any way to prevent this from happening? Is it possible to use a newer version of the library?
