## Use Case

nixpkgs, for example, only tracks released versions, so it has an outdated version currently

## Proposed Solution

Release a version using github releases.

## Alternatives Considered

I'm currently using a nix overlay to override the version in nixpkgs.

No files or tests are named. Review the repository's current version metadata and GitHub release setup first, then determine the release process that fits the plugin; done means a new version is published through GitHub Releases so downstream users such as nixpkgs can track it.
