### What happened?

## Describe the bug

I am experiencing an unexpected Chrome permission popup on multiple
CodeIgniter 4 projects.

When I open CodeIgniter 4 applications in Google Chrome, Chrome displays:

"[website] wants to Access other apps and services on this device"

with **Allow** and **Block** options.

This is happening across multiple CodeIgniter 4 projects that I have
developed, not just one particular website.

The projects are different applications, but the same permission popup
appears when accessing them through Chrome.

## Expected behavior

A standard CodeIgniter 4 application should not request permission to
access other apps or services on the user's device unless the application
explicitly performs an operation that requires such access.

## Actual behavior

Chrome shows the "Access other apps and services on this device"
permission prompt when loading CodeIgniter 4 applications.

## Environment

- CodeIgniter 4: 4.7.4
- PHP: 8.4

Image

- Browser: Google Chrome
- OS: Windows
- Occurs on: Multiple CodeIgniter 4 projects

## Additional information

This behavior is occurring consistently across several CodeIgniter 4
projects, including projects with different functionality.

I would like to confirm whether CodeIgniter 4 itself, its development
server, default configuration, response headers, or any framework-related
behavior could be causing Chrome to request this permission.

If this is not caused by CodeIgniter 4, guidance on how to identify what
is triggering the browser's Local Network Access permission would also
be helpful.

I can provide browser console/network logs and additional project details
if required.

### Steps to Reproduce

1. Create or open any CodeIgniter 4 project.
2. Run the CodeIgniter 4 application normally.
3. Open the application in the latest version of Google Chrome.
4. The application loads successfully.
5. A Chrome permission popup appears asking:

"[website] wants to Access other apps and services on this device"

6. The popup provides **Allow** and **Block** options.
7. The same behavior occurs across multiple different CodeIgniter 4 projects.

### Expected Output

The CodeIgniter 4 application should load normally without displaying a
browser permission request to "Access other apps and services on this
device", unless the application explicitly requires access to local
devices or services.

A standard CodeIgniter 4 application should not trigger this permission
request unexpectedly.

### Anything else?

This is not happening on only one website or one specific CodeIgniter 4
application.

I have observed the same Chrome permission popup on multiple CodeIgniter 4
projects that I have developed.

The popup appears in Google Chrome with the message:

"[website] wants to Access other apps and services on this device"

I would like to know whether this behavior can be related to CodeIgniter 4,
its development server, framework configuration, response headers, or
whether it is being triggered by something else in the browser/application.

Screenshot attached showing the permission popup.

I can provide Chrome console logs, Network logs, CodeIgniter version,
PHP version, and a sample project if required.

Hướng nghiên cứu

Start by reproducing the popup in a minimal CodeIgniter 4.7.4 project on Windows with Apache and Chrome, then inspect the browser console and Network logs mentioned in the report. Compare the response headers, default configuration, and development-server behavior with the affected projects; done means identifying whether CodeIgniter triggers the permission request or documenting what external application or browser behavior does.
