This example app does not seem to be implemented?

This app does not match the docs on the website.

I'm currently trying to make sense of this part of the docs:

Step 3: Add the following environment variable

Set environment variable for coverage export. You will not need to access this directory yourself, but the application will read coverage reports from this directory:

export NODE_V8_COVERAGE=codecov_reports

And am aa bit disappointed to see the example app linked in the doc was never completed
