Cherokee and php5-fpm

I've been using Firelogger for about a month now and I love it. Up until now I`ve run it on php5 with Apache. My new environment is Cherokee with php5-fpm. And when I include Firelogger as I have always done I constantly get 504 timeouts and also another server errors 502 I believe.

Have you any idea what might be causing these issues?

Start by reproducing the reported behavior with Firelogger under Cherokee and php5-fpm, then compare it with the previously working PHP 5 and Apache setup. Determine what causes the 504 timeouts and possible 502 errors; the issue is resolved when the cause and a verified fix or configuration are documented.
