Config isn't being saved

I've pasted my tailwind config from my project into the Chrome extension "config" panel. Then all my custom config options work correctly in the browser with Dev Tools for Tailwind but if I quit my browser and restart it the config resets to the default and I have to paste it in again.

is this the default behaviour or should it be saved between sessions?
