Need to change the orientation of app which is dependent on sensor

The problem

I have a mobile app which opens in portrait mode and later I need to switch to landscape mode. I have tried all possible solutions but the app does not turn to landscape mode but if I minimize the app , my emulator screen is changed to landscape. My app rotation is dependent on the sensor. How can I handle this using appium with python. I am using Appium-Python-Client 4.0.0.

Code To reproduce issue

Inizia dall'endpoint di orientamento di Appium-Python-Client mostrato nei log, prestando particolare attenzione alla richiesta POST che imposta LANDSCAPE e all'errore del driver Android. Riproduci il comportamento sull'emulatore Android e sulle versioni di Appium indicate, quindi determina se la causa del fallimento è nel client o nel driver sottostante. Il lavoro è completato quando avrai identificato un ambito chiaro e riproducibile e il comportamento previsto dell'orientamento.
