How to set timer for the running time of each algorithm?

I had two questions about your library:

1. How to get the exact running time of each algorithm? I noticed there is a **startTimer()** and **stopTimer** command, but there is no duration time when the running finishes.

2. How to run and debug the algorithms in Visual Studio without using the gui? For example, if I wanted to change something about one of the algorithms and see the result in a VS solution file.
