This also happens in Ubuntu Linux 24.04, with MS Edge 148, with extension version 1.50

The bug happens often with Onedrive (Sharepoint). Note this link is password protected and private.

Expected behavior is for only **one** download popup to occur for **one** click on a file.

Start by reproducing the duplicate-request and duplicate-popup behavior using the attached video and the listed OneDrive or Internet Archive pages, then trace the browser extension's download events in the TypeScript code. Done means one file click produces one request and one download popup on the reported Firefox and Edge environments.
