Description

When using cargo-gpu-install from build.rs, shader is not recompiled on source code changes unless build.rs changes too.

This is essentially a flavor of https://github.com/Rust-GPU/rust-gpu/issues/575, but this time about source code.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue with cargo-gpu-install invoked from build.rs, changing shader source without changing build.rs. Compare the behavior with the related rust-gpu issue 575; done means source changes reliably trigger shader recompilation.
