Research direction

This is a feasibility question rather than an implementation task; no files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by reviewing the project's Ryzen AI NPU inference scope and the relevant NPU internals, then document whether multi-NPU clustering is possible, practical, and what hardware it would require.

Description

Since there is no discussion tab in this project, I am posting this as an issue.

I would like to ask people familiar with Ryzen NPU internals.

Is there a theoretical possibility of combining multiple Ryzen NPUs into a cluster to accelerate inference or to run heavier models?

If such a theoretical approach is possible, how realistic would it be to implement in practice, and what kind of hardware would be required?
