Description

It would be cool if we (build creators) could add a line that shows the more accurate "estimated DPS" of a certain skill by pulling attributes/values from a skill (hit damage, for example) and multiply it by our own inputted numbers, for edge-case skills like Ball Lightning, or triggered skills like Fire Burst, or Molten Burst.

Ideally, we would be using a syntax to parse a number output from a skill's variable. As an example, if I wanted to show Ball Lightning DPS in the Skills section, I could write something akin to
{text="Ball Lightning DPS: ",value=[ball_lightning.average_hit * 1/0.15]}
or
{text="Molten Burst DPS: ",value=[molten_burst.average_hit * molten_burst.projectile_count * 0.2 * cyclone.attack_speed]}

Is this too complicated to integrate? Is there a different way we could accomplish something similar?

Research direction

Start by reviewing the Skills section and the Ball Lightning, Fire Burst, and Molten Burst examples in the issue. Trace how skill attributes and displayed values are currently represented, then determine the scope of a supported expression syntax and how its results would be validated. Done means the approach and supported behavior are clearly defined.
