Description

Inputs in InputLists work fine, but ExplicitInputs do not always. We need to

  • clarify the difference in the two (when should each be used)
  • see how the NetPyNE importer is handling them
  • make fixes to ensure both work
  • add tests to ensure both continue to work

Research direction

Start by clarifying when InputLists and ExplicitInputs should be used, then inspect how the NetPyNE importer handles each case. Add tests covering both input forms and consider the work complete when both are imported correctly and the tests preserve that behavior.
