MacOS setup does not work past homebrew install

Running on Mojave 10.14.5
Personal computer on home network, no proxy.

Describe the bug
Created project directory using tns create HelloWorld --template tns-template-blank-ng command.

Running sudo tns run ios prompts initial setup. Setup works fine with xcode install. After this it hangs on installing Google Chrome and any subsequent installs via Homebrew.
